Zimnochy liegt am Ostufer des Jezioro Zimnochy (auch: Jezioro Wiskie, deutsch ''Weeskenitter See'') im Nordwesten der Woiwodschaft Ermland-Masuren. Durch den See fließt hier die Wąska (''Weeske''). Die Stadt Pasłęk befindet sich 21 Kilometer in westlicher Richtung, die Powiat|Kreismetropole Elbląg 36 Kilometer in nordwestlicher Richtung entfernt.
